IEEE Concordia is renowned for its Smoked Meat Luncheons, hosted twice yearly. Held in the B-Annex lounge, students can drop by during their lunch break to enjoy free smoked-meat sandwiches and refreshments. Be sure to arrive as early as possible, though: the smoked meat is distributed on a first come, first served basis.
Price and Location
Participation in the Smoked Meat Luncheon (and, of course, the delicious smoked meat itself!) is free for Concordia Engineering and Computer Science students. However, IEEE Concordia does reserve the right to limit the number of servings allowed per visitor depending on the number of visitors.
The Smoked Meat Luncheon takes place in the B building lounge (2160 rue Bishop), at the Sir George Williams campus. The exact date of the Smoked Meat Luncheon will be announced when arrangements with the caterers have been finalized.
What to Bring
Not much is required other than a healthy appetite; IEEE Concordia will provide plates and utensils to participants.
