IEEE Xtreme 2016 Poster

Test out your programming skills against other Montréal students @ ÉTS and over 8000 students worldwide!

IEEE Xtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members compete in a 24-hour competition to solve programming problems. In keeping with previous years, we’re joining our friends at ÉTS to make the competition a Montréal university event! Come challenge your programming abilities—or just enjoy a slew of programming challenges!—, meet other Montréal teams, and show what Concordians can do!

Registration deadline
13 October 2016 20:00 (we register you by hand: please contact us well before this!)
21 October 2016 20:00 – 22 October 2016. Be prepared for a 24-hour dash!
ÉTS, location will be announced to competitors

How to participate

To participate in this competition:

  1. You must first be an IEEE student member. Join IEEE here (cost is USD 32 per year, renewal is not automatic—though we encourage you to remain a member and take advantage of what else our parent organisation has to offer!).
  2. Email Felix Adrian Lucaciu at before Friday, 14 October 2016 with your team members (3 students) and your IEEE ID numbers. (Please don’t do this last minute, we have to register you manually.) If you do not have a full team, let us know and we can help you find one!
  3. Come to the SCS Algorithm Time programming practice sessions, being held by our collaborator SCS, on Thursdays 18:30 to 20:30 in H-849. This is optional but highly recommended.
  4. Come prepared with your laptop on 21 October and enjoy the challenge! Once you’ve registered for the competition, we’ll send you the details as they finalise.
